Sheets, formatting, basic formulas, shortcuts, data entry best practices.
Week 2 — Excel Advanced
PivotTables, conditional formatting, named ranges, array formulas.
Week 3 — Power Query & Data Cleaning
Importing data, cleaning, merging, unpivot, automation with Power Query.
Week 4 — SQL Basics
SELECT, WHERE, ORDER BY, GROUP BY, aggregate functions.
Week 5 — SQL Intermediate
JOINs, subqueries, window functions, CTEs, best practices.
Week 6 — SQL for Analytics & Performance
Indexes, explain plans, writing analytic queries.
Week 7 — Data Modeling & Power BI Intro
Star schemas, relationships, Power BI Desktop basics.
Week 8 — DAX & Power BI Dashboards
Measures, calculated columns, time intelligence, interactive visuals.
Week 9 — Tableau Fundamentals
Connecting data, basic charts, calculated fields, filters & parameters.
Week 10 — Tableau Advanced & Storytelling
LOD expressions, dashboard actions, designing a narrative dashboard.
Week 11 — Capstone Project Work
Project planning, ETL, analysis, dashboards. Weekly mentor check-ins.
Week 12 — Project Presentation & Hiring Prep
Final presentations, portfolio polish, resume & interview workshops.

Capstone & Projects

The capstone is an instructor-guided, industry-aligned project: you will ingest raw data, perform ETL, write analysis queries, design KPIs, and build an interactive dashboard (Power BI or Tableau). Projects are team or individual and are meant to go directly into your portfolio.

Assessment

Weekly assignments, a mid-program technical test, and a final capstone evaluation. Students receive a technical feedback report and certificate on completion.
